Lite vs full version
What the free Lite edition covers, what the full version adds, and how to upgrade without redoing setup.
Reason Remote comes in two editions, sold as separate Stream Deck plugins. They share the same Reason codec, MIDI ports and Reason surfaces, and every page works the same way in both. The difference is how many instruments the deck follows.

What Lite covers#
Lite follows Europa, Kong, ID8 and Monotone, the four instruments in Reason Free, plus SubTractor, Redrum and Radical Keys.
When you select something else#
Select a device that only the full version covers and Lite opens a page naming it:
- Selected shows the device you picked.
- Get it opens the full version on the Elgato Marketplace.
- Back goes to the Lite hub.
Nothing is broken. Select one of Lite's instruments and the deck follows again.
Upgrading to the full version#
- Uninstall Lite in the Stream Deck app: right-click the plugin, then Uninstall. Its profiles go with it.
- Install Reason Remote and accept its profiles.
That's it. Leave the codec, loopMIDI ports and Reason surfaces as they are, because both editions use the same ones.
If you customised Lite's profiles, export them first. The full version installs its own profiles, laid out differently, so move your changes across by hand.
