Who makes Reason Remote, and the control-surface problem it was built to fix.
Reason Remote is made by Automate Pros. One person builds it. It is not a Reason Studios product and not an Elgato product. Reason device names and Stream Deck are their trademarks. The footer on every page says the same thing.
The usual hardware map in Reason is a row of knobs you have to remember per device, or a control surface that sits on one device until you go and retarget it. Reason's Remote system can do better than that: it already knows which device is selected, and it can host more than one surface. Reason Remote is a codec plus a Stream Deck + plugin that uses both. One surface follows your selection. The other stays locked to the Master Section so the mixer is still there.
The deck is built for the Stream Deck + because the pages need the four dials and the touch strip. It is Windows-only for the plugin. The codec also installs on a Mac, without auto-follow. See Mac status. There is no date for a Mac plugin.
Lite is free and follows 8 devices, including every instrument in Reason Free. The full version is $20 and follows 27. Both are on the Elgato Marketplace, and updates to the plugin arrive through the Stream Deck app.
Bugs go to GitHub Issues. A device you want, or a layout that feels wrong, goes to Discussions. The guide's request page lists the gaps that are already known: PX7, Scenic, effects, and Fury until it is in the Reason Shop.
